ZAZU Rules of Engagement

ZAZU is built on fun, kindness, courage, and real-life connection.
We’re not here to scroll endlessly — we’re here to show up, try things, and lift each other up.

To keep ZAZU safe, uplifting, and genuinely fun for everyone, all users agree to the following:

1. Everyone Can Participate & Post

All users may post original content when completing Challenges or participating in business-sponsored activities inside ZAZU.

Each participant must be actively involved, not just filming others.

Everyone posts from their own personal account.

Different perspectives, edits, and energy are encouraged — that’s what makes the feed real.

2. Tribe Rules: Challenges vs. Rewards

This matters, so let’s be very clear:

✅ Challenges

Can always be completed solo or with friends / your Tribe.

Group participation is fully allowed.

⚠️ Rewards

Are solo by default.

Group participation is ONLY allowed if the business explicitly says so in the instructions.

If the reward instructions do not clearly allow group participation, assume it is one person per reward.

3. Be Real. Be Kind. Be Human.

No bullying, harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, or intentionally harmful behavior.

If you wouldn’t say it face-to-face, don’t post it here.

ZAZU welcomes people of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs — respect is non-negotiable.

4. Keep It Family-Friendly

ZAZU is for kids, teens, parents, and grandparents alike.

Not allowed:

Nudity or sexual content

Violence or graphic imagery

Hate symbols or offensive gestures

Excessive or explicit language

When in doubt, keep it clean.

5. Authentic Participation Only

All business-sponsored activities must be completed honestly and genuinely.

Not allowed:

Faked or staged participation

Re-uploading someone else’s content

Duplicate entries for the same activity

Any attempt to misrepresent participation

Misleading or fake content may be removed and can impact your account.

6. Transparency & Disclosures

Some business-sponsored activities require legal or FTC disclosures.

ZAZU automatically adds required disclosure language when needed.

Do not remove, hide, or alter these disclosures.

Transparency protects creators, businesses, and the community.

7. Music & Copyright Rules

Only use:

Royalty-free music, or

Music you have permission to use

Content with unlicensed music may be muted or removed.

8. Safety First — Always

Participation is voluntary. Use good judgment.

Know your limits

Avoid unsafe or illegal situations

Do not attempt risky behavior for content

If it’s dangerous, reckless, or illegal — don’t do it.

9. Respect Privacy

Get consent before filming others

Do not post private or sensitive information

No addresses, phone numbers, documents, or personal data

Protect your privacy — and everyone else’s.

10. Content Rights & Platform Use

By posting on ZAZU, you grant permission for your content to be:

Displayed in the app

Featured in ZAZU marketing

Used in business-facing tools (such as downloadable merchant UGC)

Creators retain ownership of their content.
ZAZU may moderate or curate content to protect the community and platform integrity.

11. One Account Per Human

No bots. No duplicate personal accounts. No impersonation

Real people. Real moments. Real life.

12. No Self-Promotion or Soliciting

Personal accounts are for participation, not promotion.

Not allowed:

Advertising or pitching

Recruiting or selling

“Follow-for-follow” tactics

DM spam

Business engagement happens only through official ZAZU business tools. Your account may be suspended if you use the platform for self-promotion outside of ZAZU rules. You may post on your business page, participate in Challenges and DM users from your Reward Log but keep it classy and absolutely no spamming or the silly games played on other platforms. Get creative with your potential customers through authentic engagement. That's where the ZAZU magic happens.

13. Block & Report

Protect your peace.

Block users at any time.

Report content that feels unsafe, inappropriate, or harmful

Our team reviews reports seriously.

14. Enforcement

Violations may result in:

Content removal

Progress or point removal

Feature restrictions

Temporary account suspension

Permanent account removal

ZAZU reserves the right to act to protect the community and the spirit of the platform.

15. Free Speech with Responsibility

We believe in free expression — and accountability.

ZAZU isn’t about censorship.
It’s about protecting the vibe.
