ZAZU Terms of Service

Welcome to ZAZU, a mobile application operated by ZAZU Interactive, Inc. (“ZAZU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ZAZU mobile application, website, business portal, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using ZAZU, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Eligibility & Use of the App
You must be at least 13 years old to use ZAZU. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree to use ZAZU only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms, our community standards, and any applicable laws.
ZAZU is a public, community-based platform. Profiles, posts, and activity are visible to other users. Private accounts are not supported.
2. Accounts & Registration
You may be required to create a user account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
ZAZU may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or misuse the platform.
3. Business Accounts & Business Tools
ZAZU allows businesses to create business profiles and, if upgraded through our web portal, offer Rewards, Contests, or Promotions.
Important business terms:
Businesses are solely responsible for the accuracy, fulfillment, legality, and availability of any rewards, offers, or contests they create.
ZAZU does not guarantee customer participation, engagement, or outcomes.
ZAZU is not a party to any transaction, promotion, or agreement between users and businesses.
All business payments are handled outside the mobile app via our secure web portal in compliance with App Store policies.
By creating a business profile, you represent that you have the authority to act on behalf of that business.
4. User Content & License
You retain ownership of the content you post (“User Content”), including photos and videos.
By posting on ZAZU, you grant ZAZU a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to host, display, distribute, reproduce, and use your content in connection with operating, marketing, and promoting the Service.
If User Content is submitted as part of a Reward, Contest, or Business Promotion, you acknowledge that:
The associated business may have rights to reuse that content for marketing purposes
ZAZU may add disclosure labels (e.g., “Reward Earned through ZAZU”) for legal and FTC compliance
You may not post content that is illegal, deceptive, hateful, sexually explicit, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate for a family-friendly platform.
5. Community Safety, Blocking & Reporting
ZAZU provides tools to block users and report content or behavior.
We reserve the right to review, moderate, restrict, or remove content or accounts that violate these Terms or our community standards, at our sole discretion.
Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent removal.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
Harass, threaten, exploit, or harm others
Post misleading, fraudulent, or spam content
Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Service
Impersonate another person or business
7. Rewards, Contests & No Guarantees
ZAZU does not guarantee:
Reward availability or fulfillment
Business participation or continued offers
User engagement, views, or outcomes
Rewards and contests are offered at the discretion of businesses and may change or expire at any time.
ZAZU is not responsible for disputes between users and businesses.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe your conduct violates these Terms or is harmful to the platform or community.
You may stop using ZAZU at any time.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
ZAZU makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Use of the Service is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZAZU Interactive, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, personal injury, reputational harm, or disputes between users and businesses.
11. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance.
12. Account & Data Deletion
You may delete your account and request deletion of personal data through in-app settings or by contacting us at [email protected], subject to legal and operational requirements.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of courts located in Delaware.
